From Homemakers to mechanics to bankers, it's people that make the volunteer rescue squads and fire departments what they are today. It's people from all walks of life sharing the tremendous satisfaction of knowing they are truly making a difference in their community. If patient care and fighting fire doesn't appeal to you, there are many other ways to help. Administrative support may be needed with accounting, computer skills, legal guidance, fund raising or clerical duties. A helping hand with building, grounds and vehicle upkeep is always welcome. No matter what the task, 
when seconds matter - your hours count.
